Lightweight and comfortable leg protection. These chaps are easy to put on and remove, with durable Delrin quick-release buckles and smooth web straps that are easy to adjust. The PVC-coated polyester shell is water-resistant and resists snagging in underbrush. The unique dual-height waistband allows adjustment for two different leg lengths. Protective material consists of a five layer pad including polyester, polypropylene and aramid nylon blended fabric. The protective material is designed to give the wearer added reaction time should a moving chain come in contact with it. It does not prevent penetration by the saw chain. The pads are approximately 14 1/4" wide and cover the front and sides of the legs. Protective pad overall length is approx. 30". Actual coverage depends on the build of the wearer.
