NOZZLES: Rotating Turbo Nozzles
Enlarged ViewNOZZLES: Rotating Turbo Nozzles
A rotating "turbo" nozzle gives maximum cleaning power and water impact over a larger surface area than a standard nozzle.
A standard zero degree nozzle concentrates all of the pressure washer's power on a single point, which is usually less than one square inch. Consequently, using a zero-degree nozzle is too time consuming for general cleaning. Rotating "Turbo" Nozzles give maximum cleaning power and water impact over a larger surface area than a standard zero degree nozzle.
Turbo nozzles (or rotating nozzles) rapidly spin the powerful zero degree spray in a conical pattern to cover a larger surface area. This not only widens the area covered by the spray, but also gives the water stream's impact a "three dimensional" quality. The Turbo nozzle is very effective on three-dimensional soils such as caked mud or concrete.
In most cleaning situations, a small machine with a Turbo nozzle will approximate the performance of a larger machine with a conventional nozzle.
