Newspaper, radio and television ads, FSIs and direct mail materials offered
in the FALL 2008 JONSERED Brand Support Program are eligible for 50/50
co-op reimbursement from Tilton Equipment Company only when the
following requirements are met:
Only authorized JONSERED dealers, who qualify as FALL program participants
and have earned sufficient co-op accrual funds, are eligible for reimbursement.
We strongly suggest that you make sure you have sufficient co-op funds
before planning your advertising. For current co-op status, please contact
the Advertising Department.
Competitive brand names can never be shown/added to ads or direct mail
under any circumstances. Dealer tag area cannot exceed 20% of total ad
space. Ad content may be altered but content must meet basic JONSERED
co-op requirements and conditions. Ad dimensions may be altered or
scaled proportionately. Featured models are selected at dealer’s discretion.
All custom ads and direct mailers are subject to approval.
FSI (Free Standing Inserts): Minimum quantity of 1,000 FSls must be ordered.
Higher quantities must be in increments of 1,000. Minimum quantity of 250
mailers must be ordered. Higher quantities must be in increments of 250.
Tilton Equipment will pay for shipping and handling of FSIs and mailers to
newspaper/dealer. Dealer cost for direct mail cards/FSIs is 3¢ each.
Additional imprinting and shipping costs are the dealer’s responsibility,
however, mailing and newspaper distribution costs are eligible for co-op
reimbursement. Mailing costs for direct mail reimbursement must be
US Post Office validated.

Required Materials:
Newspaper Ads: Application for co-op advertising credit form, original
newspaper invoice and actual full-page tear sheets for each ad.
FSI (Free Standing Inserts): Application for co-op advertising credit form, original
newspaper invoice showing specific insertion costs describing the insert as
JONSERED, and a sample of your imprinted insert.
Direct Mail: Our Advertising Dept. MUST be added to your mailing list and
a copy be mailed to us as an actual sample. Mail to: Advertising Dept.,
Tilton Equipment Company, P.O. Box 68, Rye, NH 03870. Separately, send:
Application for co-op advertising credit form and a stamped US postal
receipt for mailing cost.
Radio and Television: Application for co-op advertising credit form, original
invoice and ANA/RNA/TVB/CAN form notarized affidavits of performance.
For television ads, we require a VHS, DVD or MPEG digital file copy
of an actual broadcast spot, complete with your dealer tag.
All requests for co-op reimbursement must be received no later than 60 days
from the end of the month in which the advertising was published, broadcast
